During the annual Museumsnacht, the exhibitions of Edgar Calel and Lin May Saeed will be open until midnight. Feel free to drop by and explore them individually and independently – perhaps using our special audio guide?
The food truck Provisorium46 and the Kunsthalle Bar will provide food and drink.
There is also a fantastic program we've put together especially for Museumsnacht:
“...5, 6, 7, 8”
Children's eyes and feet all over Kunsthalle
Start: 6 PM, 7 PM, 8 PM
Duration: 20 minutes
Exciting voyages of discovery for all who loves to explore, invent, tell stories, and experience new things (particularly children).
Maja Brönnimann is a professional dancer and invites you to take a slightly different look at the artworks. For once, the focus is not on names, facts, and explanations, but on spontaneous action and reaction to the exhibited works and the stories they tell. Together, the exhibition is explored, assumptions are made, and imagination is given free rein, leaving room for the unexpected. This gives rise to new, individual interpretations, which are woven together with the diverse possibilities of movement theater, dance, and performance to create a merging of expression.
Place of Tranquility
From 6 PM onwards
In the park behind the Kunsthalle Bern, open to the public
A place of tranquility amid the hustle and bustle. During Museumsnacht, the park behind Kunsthalle Bern becomes a place of tranquility and serene contemplation. With drinks from Journey Coffee & Books in a tranquil setting created by the team of Kunsthalle Bern, the park will become a place to linger and recharge your batteries. A playlist compiled by the Kunsthalle Bern team, inspired by the current exhibitions, can be enjoyed via headphones.
Alcohol-free and calm.
