Why are there so many ants? And what is our relationship to them? Did they bring all these mountains of salt here—or are they eating the sugar? On a joint tour with Ursina Leutenegger (Collective Learning, Kunsthalle Bern), we immerse ourselves in the two exhibitions by Edgar Calel and Lin May Saeed.
At the end of this tour, we’ll walk over to the sculptures in the Museumsquartier garden and discuss biodiversity as we look at the models on display.
The exhibition of these sculptures is a collaboration between the Department of Geography at the University of Zurich and the Graphic Design Class in Lucerne. The project is initiated and curated by graphic.rodeo, a team of researchers, communication specialists, and designers. At the Museumsquartier Bern, the exhibition will be presented in relation to themes from member institutions throughout its run (May 1–June 7).
