Come hang out for an evening of film and collage making with Ana Paola Flores.

We’ll start with a short intro to Saodat Ismailova’s work, then watch your own selection of her films. Afterwards we’ll dive into a relaxed cut-and-paste workshop. The film techniques used by the artist will inspire us to make a collage and think about how the artist envisions mystical worlds. At the end we’ll share what we made and what sparked ideas for us.

No experience needed. Just bring curiosity. The workshop is included in the entry price and will be held in english.

The mediation event is hosted by Curating Intern at Kunsthalle Bern Ana Paola Flores. Flores studies Cultural Critique – Major in Curatorial Studies at ZHDK. Her research focuses on how astronomical technologies and scientific discourse modify the ways we view the world. In turn, how do artists reveal alternative ways to rebuild or question our current planetary crises?
