Taking as our starting point a work from the exhibition Amanat: As We Sleep by Saodat Ismailova at the Kunsthalle Bern, we’ll delve into the theme of sleep.
To begin, we’ll watch one of the video works and then head together to the main hall, where we’ll lie down on the kurpachas featured in the exhibition. Kurpachas are Uzbek quilts that are displayed throughout the exhibition.
Nadine Guldimann will guide us through a guided relaxation exercise into deeper states of consciousness, allowing us to journey through our senses and experience new sensations. No prior experience is necessary for this Yoga Nidra session—just curiosity. Please come in comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Everything else will be provided.
This event takes place in a quiet, dimly lit atmosphere. It is not possible to join the session once it has begun.
This event is for adults. It is not suitable for children, as we will be lying still for an longer period of time. The meditation lasts about 45 minutes, and the event ends around 7:00 p.m. Admission, including the event: 20 CHF.
Limited number of participants; please register with Ursina Leutenegger
